Tesla’s Elon Musk is at it again!
Elon Musk is a true visionary with his dreams of Electric Cars, space exploration and now Solar Roofs that are indistinguishable from ordinary roofs. In this article from Bloomberg news we see roof shingles made of textured glass that allow light to pass through onto a flat solar cell. Brilliant!
Tesla started this month taking orders for it’s new Solar Roof panels. Last year the company acquired SolarCity and has now developed 4 different roof tile styles for installation on homes. Musk claims the tiles will last longer and cost less then traditional roof tiles and that the company will begin selling the product later this year.
